Dear TCCHS Yellow Jackets,

My name is Jamie Thompson, and is my honor to serve as principal of the best high school in the state. Along with our administrative staff, it is our duty to provide the best educational experience for all of our students. We also work to be a source of pride for our community stakeholders. 

We hope our students consider taking part in one of our many award winning extracurricular opportunities. Students can participate in a number of athletic pursuits or take part in the “Best of the Nest” TCCHS Marching Band. Along with our band, we offer a number of other fine arts opportunities including chorus, art, drama, dance, and strings. Our CTAE department also has numerous class offerings and student organizations. We hope that our students leave TCCHS equipped with the skills and knowledge to achieve their hopes and dreams. 

As a product of Thomas County Schools, I am deeply invested in maintaining a level of excellence for all of our students. My wife, Lindsay, and I have two sons, Daniel and Ethan.
