The Thomas County Central High School Envirothon team finished fifth at the Georgia Envirothon competition. The event was held Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27-28, at Camp Rutledge in Hard Labor Creek State Park. Team members are (left to right) James Gay, C’lee Kornegay, Alysa Yates, Hailey Ferrel and Bret Hendricks. Students placed second in rangeland management and fifth in both aquatics and forestry.
