Congratulations to Hakeem Stevens who won 2nd Place and a $300 scholarship at the state level for the “Georgia Manufacturing Appreciation Week (“MAW”)” art poster contest. Hakeem is unique in that he also won 1st Place in this event as a seventh grader. He will go with representatives from Southwest Georgia Technical Institute, who sponsored the regional contest, and receive his award at the luncheon on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Georgia National Convention Center.
