Jack Hadley Museum visits Fifth Grade Students at TCMS

JaMarcus Underwood, Museum Educator from Jack Hadley Black History Museum, visited with fifth grade students this week to discuss the resources available through the Jack Hadley Museum.  He also shared information about Ltd. Henry O. Flipper, originally from Thomasville, who graduated from West Point and was the first African American officer in the U.S. Army to lead a group of African-American troops, known as the Buffalo Soldiers.  Students had an opportunity to participate during the discussion and ask questions during the visit.
