Harrison Johnson, a sixth grade MERIT student at Thomas County Middle School, recently received an Honorary Ranger Award from the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site Postcard Contest. Harrison was recognized during an honors assembly where he received his award.  Harrison was one of thirty-three students in grades kindergarten through twelve to receive recognition through this state-wide competition.  The theme this year was  “It’s been a nutty 30 years”.
