Thomas County Middle School students on 7th grade Echo Company who gained at least 40 points on the SRI (Scholastic Reading Inventory) Assessment were recently rewarded with the option to choose a "class" to attend organized by Mrs. Kristi Keve.

Mrs. Artz group was 'Paint with Me' where students were able to paint a beach scene, Mrs. Dunn's group decorated cupcakes and completed a bead art project, in Mr. Hunt's group, students were able to cook with Mr. Hunt and Ms.Virginia Beachum as guest chef as they made oreo balls and ice cream cake, and in Ms. Holder's Science Experiment Room, students were able to complete an experiment where they incinerated sand soaked in a flammable liquid with sugar and baking soda to create amazing results. Students had a great time receiving their reward!
