Interested parents of students to the TCMS MERIT program were recently invited to a MERIT Meet and Greet held at Thomas County Middle School. Parents and students were greeted by MERIT teachers, TCMS Counselors, and Administrators.  Presenters, Mrs. Dana Studdard, TCMS MERIT Coordinator,  Mr. Harold Singletary, a fifth-grade MERIT teacher, and Campbell Smith, a 7th-grade MERIT student, introduced parents and students to the MERIT program through a presentation. The night concluded with guided tours of TCMS by MERIT teachers. A copy of the presentation can be found on the TCMS MERIT webpage. "We are very proud of our MERIT program. Both our teachers and students work very hard to maximize education so that students can transform intellectually. We are always excited to share information about this program to rising middle school parents," said Dana Studdard, TCMS MERIT Coordinator.
