Dr. Scott Sweeting, Thomas County's System Math and Science Curriculum Coordinator, recently visited Thomas County Middle School to help students through the process of dissecting frogs. Students from Alex Hollingsworth's and Yvette Morrell's classes experienced a hands-on approach as they explored the internal organs and body systems that they have learned about in class. According to Dr. Sweeting, hands-on labs like this help cement information previously learned in class.
