TCMS 8th grade MERIT students kicked off use of the school’s new laboratory space recently. The students identified an unknown chemical substance after first testing a set of known materials. Emily Curry, one of the students, declared, “I wish we could have class here all the time.” Stephen Nesmith, another MERIT student, thought the lab was “a lot easier than I thought it would be. It was really cool though.”
