After completing a unit on the Civil War, Ms. Dorminey and Mrs. Waller's class visited the Andersonville Historic Site.  Students received a first hand account of the conditions and experiences at Andersonville during the Civil War. During a tour of the POW Museum, they learned about the different areas from a Park Ranger guided tour that also included the memorial sites.
