Students in Mrs. Harper's class recently got to participate in a STEM project, while learning all about magnets. Their student teacher Ms. Taylor, from Valdosta State University, had them do a hands on activity to determine what items were magnetic and what ones were not. Student Maggie Hamby said, "She enjoyed the activity and would like to do it again, because it was fun!" The entire class was up moving around, placing magnets all over the room to see what items where magnetic.
