State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge named 36 parents from all over Georgia to serve on his 2014-15 Parent Advisory Council (PAC).  Leah Smith, a Cross Creek Elementary representative on the Thomas County School District’s Parent Advisory Council, was chosen as one of the members.  Each representative was asked to design and implement a project to increase family engagement in their school districts. In her video project, Smith shares ways people can volunteer and the benefits of doing so.  To see the video, please click on the link below:
