Melody Hagan, a TCCHS freshman, auditioned for All-State Chorus in October. During the competition she had to sing a classical song, three scales, sight-read three examples of music, and take a tonal memory test. She competed against choral students from all over Georgia and passed the first-round audition. She then passed a second audition and received a gold seal on her certificate for a superior score. Melody also performed in the 2013 Georgia All-State Senior Women's Chorus in Savannah, GA at the end of February. Shown with Melody is TCCHS choral teacher Katherine Stivers.
