TCMS-TCUE Dress Code Expectations….

  We realize that middle school is a time for students to mature socially…However, it is our goal to increase every student’s academic potential! Enjoy the remainder of your Summer, we will see you on August 5th!

TCMS-TCUE Boys

  • A hole is a hole is a hole is a hole!  Any pants with holes two inches or more above the knees are unacceptable for school. This includes fraying, faded tears, and shredding.
  • No baggy or sagging pants. All clothes should fit appropriately.
  • Bike shorts, aerobic wear, gym shorts, (gym clothes with elastic waistbands), or cutoffs are not allowed outside of PE classes.
  • Obscene pictures or symbols, and lewd, profane, or suggestive language on clothing, book bags, or backpacks are not allowed. Clothing, backpacks, or book bags depicting vulgar, macabre, occult, or gruesome themes or images are not allowed.
  • Clothing or book bags associated with gang colors or symbols are not allowed. Bandanas and stocking caps are prohibited. All gang related signs, symbols, names, or other items that can be associated with any street gang are prohibited.

TCMS-TCUE Girls

  • A hole is a hole is a hole is a hole!  Any pants with holes two inches or more above the knees are unacceptable for school. This includes fraying, faded tears, and shredding.
  • Clothing should be constructed and worn in a way that is not unduly revealing. Sleeveless shirts without a collar, tank tops, unbuttoned shirts or blouses, halters, strapless tops, clothes with spaghetti straps, sheer apparel, pajamas, and sleep attire are unacceptable.
  • Shorts, skirts, and dresses must have a length of two inches above the knee or longer
  • Leggings under skirts and dresses are permitted when skirts and dresses meet the dress code of two inches above the knee or longer
