The music program at Cross Creek offers a variety of musical opportunities. All students participate in a one hour music classe every six days. Students learn the basics of music through singing, moving, playing instruments, and creating. Mrs. Salveter uses a process of music teaching known as Orff-Schulwerk through which students learn to make music using percussion instruments including xylophones, drums, and recorders.

 

Our Cross Creek Chorus is a large group of about 90 third and fourth graders which practices once a week after school. These dedicated singers have concerts several times during the school year. Our first concert this year will be a holiday show in the gym on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 7:00pm.
