STEAM CAMPS

Camp GOTR (Girls on the Run) will be returning this summer to TCMS! Registration is now open and girls in grades 3rd - 5th are encouraged to join! Camp will be June 10th - June 14th from 8am- 12pm. Congratulations to fifth-grade Emma Love in Mrs. Lanatta's science class for winning at the state level in the 2024 Georgia River of Words Competition sponsored by Project WET. Emma's entry was an art project entitled 'Shark Encounter'.

The Georgia River of Worlds (ROW) Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Decatur where she will be recognized for her artwork. National winners are yet to be announced!

Congratulations to J. B. Lattay for winning first place at Southwest Georgia RESA's Young Georgia Authors Competition. J. B. will represent Thomas County at the state competition in April.

Over 50 students from the TCMS MERIT program, along with parents and teachers, recently teamed up with Keep Thomas County Beautiful (KTCB) for the Great American Cleanup. This event aims to clean up communities, prevent litter, and promote environmental conservation.
