Honor Graduate Requirements

HONOR GRADUATES:
Honor graduates will be students who have achieved an overall Numeric Grade Average (NGA) of 93 or higher at the end of the 1st semester of their senior year. Grades earned during the second semester of the senior year will not be counted in determining honor graduate status. Transfer grades must have been earned at regionally accredited institutions. The cumulative average will not be rounded to help a student become an honor graduate. (Example: a student who has a cumulative NGA of 92.5 will not be considered an honor graduate.) The announcement of these students will be made during the final grading period of the year. Any student suspended for a formal hearing during their four years of high school is automatically ineligible for honor graduate status. Students must take a minimum of 1 HOPE rigor course.
