Over 3500 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students competed in Atlanta the weekend of March 14-16, 2014. Less than 10% will move on to represent Georgia at the FBLA National Leadership Conference and Competition in Nashville, TN this summer. Those earning the right to represent TCCHS and Georgia at Nationals are:
- Lauren Rich--2nd Place in Business Communication
- Tessa McCorkle--3rd Place in Website Development
- Savannah Matherly--4th Place in Hospitality Management
We also had a good representation in multiple events with distinguished honor. These students include:
- Noah Harris--2nd Place in Global Business
- Jordan Barrett, Logan Beever, and Mason Lawing--4th Place in Digital Video Production (They were the #1 ranked team in presentation at state.)
- Addison Frasch, Ellen Ponder--6th Place Desktop Publishing
- Stephen Atkinson, Jane Guo, Angel Tran--7th Place Digital Design and Promotion
- Erin Pearson--9th Place Introduction to Business Communication
- Deana Dabner, Steven Tran, Tyler Williamson--11th Place in Business Plan
