Welcome to my webpage! My name is Kelli Dorminey. Check your Parent Newsletter for classroom happenings and reminders. I also use Class Dojo for quick reminders and to communicate with parents.

       I began my teaching career with student teaching at Cross Creek Elementary. I began teaching at Cross Creek in 2014. I was the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year at Cross Creek Elementary. I am excited to be a part of this great team. 

 I enjoy outside activities and spending time with family and my dog, Oliver. My favorite vacation spot is any beach destination.
       I received my Bachelor's degree and my Master's degree from Thomas University. I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership in 2018, also from Thomas University. I put my students first and I am motivated to find ways to help each student be successful. I believe in positive reinforcement in the classroom and find that modeling how we treat others is the best way to encourage teamwork, and the three B's at Cross Creek: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Ready. I look forward to a great year and I am excited for a great classroom experience.
