I am so excited to be serving as your student's English teacher this school year!  Thank you for trusting me with your child's learning.  I take great pride and great joy in this task.

I have been working in classrooms in Georgia since 2007, instructing in both English and Social Studies.  A Michigan Native, I got my teaching start in 2005 in Detroit Public Schools, and have been sharing my passion for inspiring young people to become lifelong learners ever since.

Your high school students will practice literary critique, composition, and writing mechanics in a safe and rigorous learning environment.  Always seeking to foster creativity and a sense of discovery, we not only read and write, but also use our imaginations to create projects, narratives, poems/ songs, and unique literary works in each unit.
