Reminders

• Baccalaureate: Sunday, May 17^th at 2:00 pm at Dawson Street Baptist Church (Students should wear their cap and gown.)
• Honor Graduate Luncheon: Thursday, May 14^th at 11:00 a.m.
• Senior Honors Night: Thursday, May 14^th at 6:00 p.m. (Students who are receiving an award will receive an invitation. All students/parents are welcome to attend.)
• Practice: Friday, May 22^nd at 7:45 a.m.  Sit in your assigned seat in the gym.  Every student who plans to participate in graduation must attend the entire practice.
• Let Ms. Rodgers know, if you don’t plan to march. 
• See Ms. Moore, a counselor, or an administrator if you need help getting clothing items for graduation.
• All debts must be cleared before you receive your tickets.
• Graduation:  Saturday, May 23^rd.  Report dressed to cafeteria by 8:30 am. 
• Graduates only allowed in the cafeteria. 
• Do not bring personal items into the cafeteria (Cell phones, purses, keys)
• Rooms are available as people arrive.  No reservation required.
• Sign up for your final transcript to be sent to the college you plan to attend.

Dress Requirements for Graduation

GIRLS

• Navy or black solid color dress or skirt/blouse (shorter than robe)
• Navy or black closed (toe and heel) dress shoes
• No bobby pins in hair or hats
• No piercings of any kind except small earrings

BOYS

• White dress shirt—solid color; no print
• Black or navy solid color tie (A LONG TIE, NOT A BOW TIE)
• Black dress shoes AND black socks
• Navy or black dress pants
• No earrings or other piercings

NO JEANS OF ANY KIND.  NO TENNIS SHOES OF ANY KIND.
NO CLOGS, MULES, SANDALS, OR STACKS.
