TCCHS hosts PROBE College Fair

TCCHS English teacher Renae Moore and senior James Jones interact with a college representative to obtain more information about Albany State University.

Thomas County Central High School held its annual PROBE Fair Tuesday, Sept. 4. The event took place in the school’s cafeteria. Representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities were in attendance. Students from TCCHS and neighboring schools were invited to attend. Students and their families could peruse the various booths and ask questions about topics important to college acceptance, including applications and financial aid options. The fair is an important tool to aid students in determining which colleges and universities in the state and region might best suit their post-secondary plans. The TCCHS Guidance Department is in charge of the yearly event.  The hope is that students will leave the fair with a clearer understanding of what they need and the colleges to which they may wish to apply.
