My name is Farran Burnette and I look forward to teaching your child this year! I was born in New York and made way to Georgia via Florida. I am a graduate of TCCHS and hold a bachelors, masters, and doctorate from Valdosta State University, the first in political science, the second in secondary education, and the third in curriculum and instruction. I have worked in Florida, Colquitt County, Thomasville Scholars Academy, and as a lecturer for VSU's college of education department. I am pumped to be a Central Yellow Jacket!! This will be my 14th year teaching.

I have two wonderful sons and an awesome husband. We love to travel all over the world together and gain experiences as a family. I love doing anything outdoors, reading, and have one cat named Eleanor and a dog named Birdie. 

I believe in the mission of AP classes and providing whatever assistance I can to those who choose to take the most rigorous classes the school provides. I want to help champion your student to their greatest version of success!
