WBLWelcome to Work-Based Learning.  My name is Brandi Miranda and I am the Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Thomas County Central High School. I taught four years of Business and Technology classes at Bishop Hall Charter School and previously worked as the Principal's Secretary at TCCHS. I am a Thomasville native and graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 1998. After high school, I attended Thomas University and Southeastern University where I studied accounting for two years. I continued my education at Peru State College where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Management. In 2018, I graduated from Columbus State University with a Master's in Educational Leadership.

I believe strongly in the benefits of Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education classes at TCCHS for our students no matter what their goals are after high school graduation. I believe in the mission of CTAE, "To educate Georgia's future workforce by providing experiences for Georgia students that will prepare them for workplace success."

My husband, Chris, teaches Literature at Bishop Hall Charter School and coaches the Thomas County Middle school boys' soccer team.  We have two boys, Christian and Aiden. Christian is a freshman at Valdosta State University and Aiden is a freshman at Thomas County Central High School. Both have played soccer for TCCHS and club soccer. During my free time, I love spending time with my family and watching our boys play soccer. I am that "soccer mom."

I am excited to start the new year and look forward to meeting and working with each of you.  Please do not delay in communicating any questions or concerns with me: I am here to help.  I can be reached in my office at 229.413.1792 or by email at bmiranda@tcjackets.net

Make sure to follow our Work-Based Learning Instagram page and like our Work-Based Learning Facebook page. Both can be found by searching TCCHS_CTAE.
