Students from Mrs. Phillips' 8th-grade science class recently joined 7th and 8th-grade students in Mrs. McDonald's class for a science lab. In an effort to provide authentic learning opportunities for all students, the teachers collaborated to create a hands-on lab examining the effects of static electricity. A multitude of skills were tied into the lesson, and most importantly, students thoroughly enjoyed working with one another in such a dynamic and meaningful way.
