All sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students from Thomas County Middle School recently attended a Motown performance at The Thomasville Center for the Arts. Seventh-grade students began the first phase of comparing a stage production to a written work by attending "A Trip to Motown" performance, and will continue this comparison by reading a short story about Motown.

High school students also presented a song and dance show accompanied by singing by a local artist. Historic information accompanied the musical selection.
