Students in Mrs. Lanatta's class recently participated in a lab during class that demonstrated chemical and physical changes, as well as showing the differences between mixtures and solutions. Students had a mixture of goodies and had to demonstrate how a physical change takes place. Students then had the opportunity to make pancakes to explain how a solution is made and taken apart. This demonstration also explains how chemical changes are taking place during the cooking process.
