The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP) has accepted Jayden Jones from Thomas County Middle School as one of its newest Youth Advisory Council members. GCAPP’s Youth Advisory Council is comprised of 77 young leaders throughout the state aspiring to advocate for change in their local community while providing first-hand knowledge on issues facing young people. Jaden was chosen from more than 130 applicants for this honor. Youth Advisory Council members serve as GCAPP ambassadors. Jayden is the Council’s youngest member and has exhibited extraordinary leadership skills and abilities. GCAPP is honored to have Jayden serve as a member of the Youth Advisory Council.

GCAPP is a statewide organization that works to improve the overall health and well-being of young people in Georgia. The organization’s programs center around youth empowerment, comprehensive sex ed, teen pregnancy prevention, parent engagement, and physical activity & nutrition.
