Students on 8th-grade MERIT Team Zulu recently traveled to Andersonville to tour the National Prisoner of War Museum and the prison grounds. The students were led on a tour of the grounds by a park ranger who explained the location, intake of prisoners, and prison life. The field trip was a culminating activity for the Georgia Studies unit on the Civil War.
