Hello! Thank you for visiting my teacher web page. I am thrilled to kick off the new school year here at TCMS! Just to share a little about myself and what to expect from me as a teacher,  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Educational Studies and Master degree in Education in my hometown of Miami, Florida. I moved to Thomasville, Georgia with big dreams of becoming a teacher and working with young people. I earned my Ed. Specialist degree from Valdosta State University, focusing on teacher leadership and reading instruction. 

It is my privilege to encourage, inspire, and teach your Outstanding Performer and help them not just increase their test scores, but to prepare them for life beyond middle school. I am very successful in reaching students and improving their scores, and I am incredibly excited to see where this year takes us. Several of my students have moved on to Honors and Advanced Literature courses at the high school level. Many of my students jump from level 1 to 3 and even from level 2 to 4 on the Georgia Milestones!! In my class, the expectations are high. I have set goals for myself and your child, and I am committed to achieving those goals as well.

Additionally, I will be working with your child to fill any gaps that he or she may have in their writing skills. I have some tried and true ideas for this year and I am very excited to get started with those.
