Welcome to my website! I am very excited about the 2023-2024 school year and look forward to a great new learning adventure with your child. My goal, as your child's teacher, is to make sixth grade an amazing and successful year. 

     This is my nineteenth year in education.  I taught fourth grade writing and language for four years and sixth grade language arts for fourteen years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education from the University of Georgia in 2005, my master's degree in Reading Education from Valdosta State University in 2008, and my specialist degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southwestern University in 2022. I love to read and hope to share that joy with your child.
