Third-grade students from Barrow, Fykes, Mobley, and Morgan Taylor's classes participated in an I Kid A Rod race set up across the Cross Creek campus.  The event was held after learning about the Iditarod dog sled race held in Alaska each year.  Students had to race as teams through a series of checkpoints, while completing tasks such as word problems, map skills, and answering questions to show their knowledge and history of the Iditarod.  This is the sixth year students have been able to participate in this fun learning experience.
