Welcome to my homepage! I am so excited about this school year and all that it has in store!

I'm looking forward to this school year! I enjoy teaching, enriching, and supporting my students every year! I absolutely love teaching third and fourth graders and helping my students close gaps in their learning through research-based intervention practices and curriculum.  I believe that a positive relationship among teachers, parents, students, and their families is vital to a student's success.  I have earned degrees in Early Childhood Education at the Bachelors, Masters, and Specialist levels and a Bachelors in Social Work degree. My teaching certificate endorsements include Gifted Endorsement and Dyslexia Endorsement. I am a Google Certified Teacher and Certified in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. I enjoy being a part of educating the children in Thomas County and have proudly raised my 5 children in this community. 

I have taught in a variety of settings at Cross Creek and have found my niche as an Academic Intervention Specialist, helping our students close gaps in their learning. In addition to serving Cross Creek students as an interventionist, I am a faculty advisor for the K-Kids Club.  Check out my link/page for K-Kids!

When not at school, I love to be outdoors; whether at home, the beach, or the north Georgia mountains.
