Welcome to our class web page!  My name is Marnee Stone and I have been teaching in the Thomas County School System for nineteen years. I've taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade and Third Grade. I enjoy teaching third grade because they still have a natural curiosity for learning, and are learning to be independent thinkers and doers. I love facilitating their interests as well as getting to know each students unique strengths and talents.

My husband, (Hank) and I are blessed with two daughters. My oldest daughter is Karson, who is 25, is a graduate of North Georgia University and will be graduating from P.A. this December. My youngest daughter Elli, who is 22, is a graduate of Georgia College University with a business degree in management currently works as a recruiter in Alpharetta, Ga.

My goal is to provide my students with an enriching and rewarding school year. I hope to see each student attain a love for reading and learning.
