Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year and to third grade!

Thank you for visiting my webpage. My name is Kristi Ambrose and I have been teaching for the Thomas County School System for 12 years. I also went through the Thomas County School System as a student. I am very proud to be a Thomas County Yellow Jacket! I graduated in 2011 from Thomas University with my Bachelors Degree, in 2014 from Valdosta State University with my Masters Degree, and in 2017 with my Specialist in Education Degree. I am certified to teach all general education subjects in pre-k through fifth grade and all special education subjects in pre-k through twelfth grade. I am also certified to teach adaptive curriculum for all subjects in pre-k through twelfth grade. 

My hope for this school year is to not only teach my students math skills they can carry with them through life to be successful, but to also teach them how to be a productive member in our community through social skills. I will be using Class DOJO and Remind to communicate with parents. It is a very quick way for you to get a message to me! You can also access DOJO at any time to see how your child is doing in school. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any questions or concerns. Our planning period is 10:20-11:15.
