Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

This is my seventh year at Cross Creek, and I’m excited to be teaching fourth grade with this team of amazing teachers. Originally from the Midwest, I moved to the south during college, graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography. After staying home with my children and then teaching preschool for eight years, I received my Special Education certification through the Georgia TAPP program. I have now lived in Thomasville for 22 years and love it. I have been married for 28 years and have three wonderful sons, two dogs, and a cat. I’m looking forward to a fun and exciting school year.

Whether teaching my younger siblings, my own children, or students in the school setting, being a teacher has always been a passion of mine and I feel immensely blessed to have the opportunity to work with students every day. I hope to encourage your children to find their strengths, love their uniqueness, and always keep learning!
