As part of their hero study, students in Mrs. Linda McClune's kindergarten class each dressed as their hero.  Trent dressed as Deputy Colvin, whom he sees each morning directing traffic in front of the high school.  Deputy Colvin stopped by to see Trent on Friday morning and to present him with a deputy's badge. The hero theme tied in with the kindergartners studying community helpers and other heroes such as Martin Luther King, Jr., and leads up to Presidents' Day.
