Hi, my name is Amy Amaro, and I am so excited to be teaching music at Hand-in-Hand!  I am originally from Dothan, AL, and I received a B.S. in Music Education- Instrumental Music from Troy University.  I also have a M.S. in Foundations in Education from Troy University and an ED.S. in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University.  I taught band and elementary music in Grady County for 16 years, and this is my first year in Thomas County.  Along with teaching PreK and Kindergarten Music at Hand-in-Hand, I will also be assisting with the Thomas County Central High School Band.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at aamaro@tcjackets.net.
