DAR local winners

Many students at Garrison Pilcher recently participated in the DAR Junior American Citizens Contests and won at the local level. The topic this year was “The 400th Anniversary of the Mayflower: Rise and Shine for New Opportunities in a New Land.” The banner winners are: (First Place) Jane Nestale, Ethan Thompson, JB Lattay, L’adarrius Small, Caden Singletary, Kollin Bradshaw, Guthrie Sprague, and Preston Van Heiningen; (Second Place) Brantley Frascona, Erik Garcia, Henry Woods, and Bowen Bennett. The winners for poster are: (First Place) Jane Nestale and Parker Howell; (Second Place) Ethan Thompson and Guthrie Sprague; (Third Place) Ruby McInnis and Kollin Bradshaw; and (Honorable Mention) Brantley Frascona. The winners in the stamp category are: (First Place) Ethan Thompson and Guthrie Sprague; (Second Place) Perry Long and Allison Burke; (Third Place) JB Lattay and Caden Singletary; and (Honorable Mention) Jane Nestale. Poem winners are: (First Place) Dahlia McRae; and (Second Place) Bowen Bennett. Not pictured are JB Lattay and Guthrie Sprague.
