The Thomas County School System is pleased to offer five camp sessions this summer for students interested in science, technology, engineering, arts and math!
There is NO COST for these camps. Please register by Friday, May 3, 2024.

Students can choose to attend ONE of the camps listed below.
Camp # 1
GYSTC STEM Camp
Students will learn to think like scientists and engineers using different kinds of raw materials to build models and solve real-world problems.
for students currently in grades 2-4
Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31, 2024, at Garrison-Pilcher Elementary School
Two options: 8:30-11:30 AM or 12:30-3:30 PM
Camp #2
Thomas County Schools Coding and Robotics Camp
Students will learn to code and program robots to perform varying commands.
for students currently in grades 2-4
Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31, 2024, at Garrison-Pilcher Elementary School
Two options: 8:30-11:30 AM or 12:30-3:30 PM
Camp #3
Art Camp
Students will participate in a variety of fun, themed art activities exploring painting, drawing, weaving, and sculpture.

Camp #4
Middle School Coding and Computer Science Camp
Students will learn more about coding and computer science while completing engaging and fun hands-on activities.
for students currently in grades 5-7

Camp #5
Healthcare Science Camp
Students will learn Heartsaver CPR, basic first aid skills, how to take vital signs, put on and remove personal protective equipment, as well as maintaining proper hand hygiene.
