Superior Spanish scores

Sixth and seventh-grade MERIT Spanish students recently participated in a Spanish Poetry Recitation Competition at East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Students learned and performed a poem in Spanish before a panel of judges. Students were judged on pronunciation, interpretation of the text, smoothness of delivery, and textural accuracy. Students received two noteworthy scores, seven excellent scores, and eight superior scores. Pictured in the first row from left to right are Zariah Clark, Chandler Strickland, and Elijah Connell.
