TCCHS Youth Baseball Camp

Camp Description

This camp will cover all aspects of the game and the goal is to improve the players’ basic fundamentals of the game while having fun. Instruction will include the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, infield, outfield, base running and team defense. We will use a positive coaching approach to help each ballplayer raise his confidence and level of play. The camp will be run by members of the TCCHS coaching staff as well as current and former Yellow Jackets.

Designed for boys from ages 7-14, sessions will emphasize individual skills, fundamentals, and team strategy. Areas covered include everything from outfield and infield play to base-running, sliding and much more in this dynamic youth baseball camp.

General Information

Clothing and Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment (sun screen, etc.) they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided. 

Camp Waiver Information
Please read, fill out and bring signed forms to the field no later than the first day of camp. *In order to guarantee a t shirt please turn in forms by May 15, 2014.  You can mail checks and forms to:

Meals
Bring your own lunch, snack and beverage (preferably water, gatorade, etc.).  Please no soft drinks.
