I am so excited to teach! My students call me “Profe” [PRO-fay] and I am the 6th grade MERIT Spanish teacher. I have taught at TCMS since 2018 but have been teaching for about 13 years now as a TA at UGA then a high school Spanish teacher in Middle GA. Here at Thomas County Middle School, I was previously the Exploratory Spanish teacher. I absolutely love what I do, and I can't wait to share all of this amazing information with your child. 

I now teach Spanish 1-A. We are a largely cultural, communicative, and project based classroom where it is important to not just learn the information but use it as well. That could be done through writing paragraphs, having conversations, developing projects, or any number of other ways to prove that we have absorbed the target language.

For the most part, your student will only need a tabbed section in a three-ringed binder, or a notebook, in order to take notes. If they require any extra supplies or information on what we are doing, it will be posted in Google Classroom, so please check that regularly.
