The Internet of things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

This course will introduce you to advanced networking concepts, wireless connectivity, and how devices can work together to complete complex tasks with little to no human interaction. You will have the opportunity to work with physical sensors and devices such as security systems to see real-life examples of IoT. We will also make use of Raspberry Pi devices and Arduino kits.
