Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year and to Third Grade!

I look forward to making this year the best that it can be, as we work together to navigate through new adventures.  This will be my 10th year teaching in Thomas County and I am proud to be apart of the Yellow Jacket Family! My hope is that I am able to help all children discover a love and passion for reading, that will stay with them beyond the school years. I will be using Class DoJo and Remind this year to communicate with parents.  It is a great way to see how your child's week went and to check for important information regarding your child.  

I graduated from Valdosta State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Education and Master's Degree in Special Education. I am also certified in Middle Grades English Language Arts and Adaptive Curriculum.
