Welcome to 1st grade!  I am excited about being your child's teacher this year.  I grew up in the Thomas County School System and I am thrilled to say that I have been teaching first grade since 2006, back where it all started.  I hope you will love Garrison-Pilcher as much as I do!  First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning.  This is an important year of transitions and I am here to help you and your child in EVERY way I can.  During first grade, your child will learn how to read, write stories, add, subtract, and so much more!  My goal is to make your child’s learning experience one that is fun and exciting, as well as instill in them a love of learning that will last throughout your child’s years of schooling.  Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do to make this year the best one your child will have.
