My name is Travis Barrett and I am the Welding Teacher at Thomas County Central High School.  This is my twelveth year teaching at the Prep Academy. I have seventeen years experience in the welding field.  I attended Southwest Georgia Technical College and received my certification in welding.  I also attended Valdosta State University and completed the New Teacher Institute.  I'm also the head coach for the 9th grade and JV baseball teams, and assistant coach on the varsity team.

I am married to Suzanne Barrett, who is a 1st grade teacher at Garrison Pilcher Elementary School and I have three children, 17 year old and 15 year old twins. I look forward to seeing you in my class.
