• Breakfast: Breakfast is served every morning from 7:30-8:00. If your child plans to eat breakfast at school, please try to have him or her at school no later than 7:45. I would like students to eat breakfast before 8:00. 

• Transportation Change: If your child has a transportation change, please call the office before 2:00 or send a note in the planner.

• Planner: Each day your child will bring home a planner. This is an important communication tool. Please check and sign it nightly. 

• Weekly Folder: Your child will bring home a blue folder every Thursday. This folder will contain student work and other important information. Please view the papers in the folder and return the folder on Friday each week. 

• Remind Messages: Important information will also be shared using Remind. If you aren't automatically sent information to join my class, please let me know.

• Homework: I’ll send home a small homework packet on Mondays starting the second week of school. It will include the weekly spelling words, a reading fluency passage, and a couple of math practice sheets. Please return the homework every Friday. In addition, PLEASE encourage your child to read each night!

• Specials: Our class will go to specials from 9:05-10:00 each day. We will follow a six day rotation schedule. A monthly calendar will be sent home to help keep up with the rotation.

• Please send your child in tennis shoes on the days we go to PE and Health.
