Welcome to My Mathematicians class!!  I am very excited to be your teacher. 

Your child will be learning the following skills in our 7th grade MATH CLASS:  Multiplying & Dividing (Whole numbers and decimals), Place Value, Comparing Decimals and whole numbers, Fractions (add/subtract, multiply/divide, and comparing), Geometry (plotting points, classifying shapes, and calculating area/volume) and Customary/Metric Conversions. 

Homework:

Homework is given every Mon, Tues,  and Thurs. nights.  Students are required to complete ALL homework assignments.  Students will be graded on their effort in completing these assignments.

InterActive Notebooks:

Interactive notebooks are a GREAT resource students are creating in class and are held responsible for maintaining in an organized manner.  Students use the notebooks as a reference guide for studying & completing homework.
