Advanced Art Course (First Half 8th Grade Exploratory/Art)

The Eighth Grade Advanced Art Studio course, is designed to develop students’ skills and expand their understanding and appreciation for the visual arts.  Students, who are seriously interested in the visual arts,  have the opportunity to apply to take part in this course towards the end of their 7th grade year.  Through this intensive year long course, students will have the chance to study more advanced concepts and techniques, exploring a range of different two-dimensional and three-dimensional media relating to a broad range of topics.
